Roots

Why do we care about blooming so much?

We want to be seen is a given answer, but what if it's because we think that's how we'll be beautiful? The blooming is a result of the roots established, without the roots, the beauty of all that blooming will wilt and fade. The roots are an important source, they are valuable and should still be seen as beautiful, the kind that is internal and to be cherished, can't rot or fade.

The roots aren't seen as exciting or provide much of a status symbol, people who bloom can often forget when they were just in the roots stage. When you bloom there can be a feeling of not needing to explain yourself, because the evidence is there and validation can be given. But roots can cause for some embarrassment and shame, because you know you're supposed to bloom, but haven't grown into that yet. This can make you feel the need to constantly explain or be apologetic to others who've bloomed, as to why you haven't come into the expected season.

For anyone reading, hear this and may the Lord speak to your heart:

The blooming is going to come, it's what you were created to do, what you were wired to do, and you will do it well. The roots need to be established, don't forfeit the source for a platform., don't forsake the process in order to showcase, because you will quickly wilt and fade. You are a root that will last and not be easily plucked or moved, you will be established. I AM establishing in you what I put in the seed in order to grow and then be able to bloom. That blooming stage is coming, just remain patient and watering as the roots are developing. Sure, nobody can see anything, but how special and precious that God sees and it's just between the two of you at the moment, a safe space of vulnerability. The seed dreams of being fully bloomed, it is stored with potential that bursts out of it, but must be developed into deeply secured roots so that it can have nutrients and the foundation it needs to sustain blooming. The gift is in you, let's establish what it needs to be able to prosper for His kingdom. Some blooms stay in the root stage for longer that others, however your process goes is for you, embrace it and keep your focus on God so as to not compare, because all of our journeys are different.

How encouraging!

God is a faithful and trusted gardener. We need to see the value in the roots and that will change how we perceive and treat that stage. We won't despise it, but respect that it is needed and persevere in the process no matter how tiring it can get watering soil that day after day, doesn't burst through with a shoot.

Things are working underground, breakthrough is coming!
