The clock doesn't stop nor will it rewind, with each passing day we are running out of time. The earth groans in anticipation, for the reunion between a generation and their saviour, who is coming to collect His devoted bride. Whilst a joyous day this may be, it will be sad for the Lord as many weep, His children that He loved and desperately sought after, never opened the door or offered Him a thought.
To have not heard His knocking all their days, all the signs He provided as a symbol of his grace, and urging them to return into His embrace. They scoffed and mocked, they didn't understand what they walked away from, thinking they knew best. The Lord remained patient, but a time would come when He would have to call them home, and how unfortunate that not all would be there, in the places He'd been wanting to prepare for their presence. They loved the things He longed to save them from, they made a home in the darkness when His light was what they needed.
It wasn't an easy decision to accept their fate, but God is just to all, it's better to have tried than to have not known the one named Jesus. Lend an ear to listen, as His faithful servants share the mission of revealing the truth of how you need him in your life, to be saved from your sins and the shackles in eternal life. To know who you are truly meant to be and to live the life that you were called to live, in freedom and grace running the race towards Him, desperate and yearning to be reunited with Him forever.
What seems fun now is not going to last, like a thief in the night His coming will pass, will you have enough oil in your lamp to last the night or will it burn out like a candle light?
None of this is to evoke fear, what you may think is fiction or not real has always been there, long before the earth and universe even came to be, the trinity was together and planned for all that we see. It's important to take note of every warning, because to shrug off and keep going will only harden your heart to fully accepting the truth that a saviour died for you, so you can be set free and rose from the dead to give you the keys to eternity.
I warn you of the grave fate that will be met should we think we know best and continue without Him, for generations He has displayed His love both boldly and in mundane ways, so we can see that we are loved and known by someone so majestic who sits on the throne.
The wrath that He will pour out is not what he wants for you to experience, the destruction to come can be avoided, it does not have to be you left behind crying out for him when it is too late.
Know Him now, come to know of this great saviour even if it's just to understand what all the fuss is about, ask your questions, interrogate this truth and let it transform you. Do not stop if the doors of the church are closed, keep searching and call out into the open for him to reveal himself, He is to be sought in order to be found. Just know his eye remains on you, and He is pursuing you even in your curiosity, open your heart to receive the truth He will reveal.
The life that is lived with Him is not without problem and ease, but all that is needed to become who we are meant to be, has been placed within us, and this journey of being renewed and perfected for His glory will transform us into our true identity.
Time is running out, time is running out, time is running out those three words shorten with each day that passes, and God wants for you to be prepared and spared the wrath that will pour out, what we would've deserved had it not been for Jesus sacrificing himself for us.
This is a call to repent, confess of your sins to God and then pivot in life and change your ways. Do not live like you used to, do not talk like you used, do not worship the other gods that you used to, do not think like you used to, let the old pass away and allow for the new creation to arise and become moulded into your true identity.
Everyday that you are alive is the mercy of God to give you another chance, He's the God of second chances and until your last breath it is not too late to come to know him. Every believer who you come across that shares of the gospel, are not trying to fool you or trick you, they are trying to help you because God wants you and has called us to seek you out so that you may receive the message that will change your life.
There are missed opportunities in life, but one with Christ is one you cannot afford to miss because the day will come when He returns and on that day you will want to be with Him and not left behind. Do not fear but be convicted or challenged to repent and pursue Christ, try all that you can to know him, do not remain in ignorance for that cannot save you nor will it help you.
Repent for the kingdom is at hand, the Lord shall return for His bride and on that day there will be nowhere to hide.
