At the beginning of the year there is much anticipation and hope, lots of plans and goals wanting to be accomplished. You may have been experiencing back to back breakthroughs, accelerated progress or life changing opportunities. Enjoy your blessings and testify of God's goodness so He gets the glory, to see your smile and joy pleases the Lord. On the flip side, perhaps the year has not unfolded in the way you desire, you're waiting for breakthrough, struggling to see a way through challenges or feel like your losses keep stacking up. Let me remind you that there are still so many days ahead, the year can still take a great turn, and God is with you through it all.
I know how scary it can be to trust Him and believe that things can be good for you but trust that it can. God desires for you to experience good things, and will take you through the process that is required for your growth and maturity to make it to the other side. Whatever you have been through that pained you, know that it broke the Lord's heart and He saw your weeping and wants to bring healing and restoration. Don't stay away from Him, but return to His presence and pour out your heart to him, whatever you harbour within whether anger, bitterness, pain or resentment. Express it all to Him, and allow Him to help you heal and be refreshed in His presence.
Keep the faith, God is not done yet.
