There's Always Tomorrow

How much time do you think you have to accomplish your destiny? Just as the numbers of hair on your head are numbered, so are your days.

There is a time that has been set on this earth, for you to establish God's agenda through the assignments given to you specifically. If we assess nature for a moment, it demonstrates that there is a time for every season; flowers bloom in spring and animals come out of hibernation. Certain fruits are most ripe and ready to eat in the summer, leaves fall during the autumn and winter brings cold weather. God set a time and system for nature to operate, He does this for all his creation including us humans, there is a time that we have to accomplish what we were created to do.

What is something that deters the progression of this? it's not binging Netflix, or oversleeping, these are the symptoms of a diagnosis that is known as procrastination. One definition of procrastination is to keep delaying something that must be done, and this is something I have perpetuated many times in my life. This resulted in me remaining stagnant for longer in certain circumstances, and there have been opportunities that I did not pursue and ultimately missed without me ever knowing what could've been. Time continues to pass, and you find yourself in the same place living in the same cycle for another year, and it becomes a comfort zone because at the root of this procrastination for many people is fearI know it was the root in my own case, I was so afraid of failing again, and I was afraid of not having what it takes, to accomplish what God was calling me to do. Other reports explain that certain fears that people have are fear of success or fear of rejection. 2 Timothy 1:7 says 'we have not been given a spirit of fear or timidity but of power love and a sound mind'.

Think who it benefits with you remaining in a place of fear, it benefits the enemy because you are not progressing with the solutions and answers that are going to set the people he has in deception free. Your assignments are connected to people you will meet as you journey in life, some of whom you will never meet in this lifetime but your impact will reach them. God is very diligent about his agenda being fulfilled and we must rise up to become diligent souls like it says in Proverbs 12 '...But diligence is a man's precious possession'. There is a time for everything, let us be moving in the timing of God according to our seasons; sowing when we need to, learning when we need to, consecrating when we need to, and reaping when we need to. Procrastination is ruining our lives, and it will cause for us to miss destiny moments if we continue to delay and push things back.

The kingdom of heaven needs you to be diligent and keep running your race, ask the Lord to help you in becoming consistent and diligent. He is great at systems and organisation, look at what He created, plus He knows the timing for everything concerning your life. He can give you insight in regards to what must be the focus of each season of your life.

Say this:

Jesus, I will fulfil and behold my destiny. The spirit of procrastination has no place in my life and I choose to develop a diligent soul. I will not miss destiny moments, but I will be prepared for their coming. Lord, train me and show me the systems to establish in my life, so that I may steward my time well. The spirit of fear does not come from you, I rebuke you fear and silence every negative voice that speaks against me. I declare that I have a sound mind that is filled with peace and the Word of God and I set my eyes on Jesus. My circumstances cannot change if I do not change, and I ask you to transform me into the person who will fulfil the destiny you have chosen me for. Amen.
