The journey in pursuit of something is beautiful, in that it benefits us beyond obtaining the goal. We should value and appreciate the journey more, look to it with joy because of how much we will be transformed. We undergo a process of refining in our character, cultivating our skills and mindset, build relationships with people, becoming openminded and more teachable, develop a softer heart and humility. You will then find that this process improves the quality of your mindset, health, prayer life, self esteem and so forth, each step of progression being a brick being added to the foundation of your life.
We go on a journey with God, once we receive Jesus as our Lord and saviour, that transforms us and even better, God's intentions for us are always good! He has plans of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. He desires the very best for our lives, and the nature of our respective journey's are different, according to what His good and perfect will is for said individual. But they are all covered by his love and grace, as He shapes and moulds us into who we were created to be.
No journey is linear, so there are challenges, trials, and testing we will encounter which scripture even confirms "...For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!" John 16:33 (TPT). But our transformation helps us to navigate these encounters better, and we begin to stand more firmly in our power and authority over time. This is only the result of God working in us, and using our circumstances to bring more of His likeness out of us.
We will have many goals we fixate on, whether long term or short term, but life in itself is a continuous journey. So I offer some perspective on viewing our journey's with more appreciation for how optimal it is for us.
